by Tom Luongo I’ve given Elon Musk a lot of grief in the past over how he’s run Tesla Motors. Suffice it to say I’m not a fan. Deep down I’m supremely distrustful of Musk because he is, at best, a mercurial figure who is difficult to read. He’s become the richest dude in the world partnering with governments to build some of the biggest hype machines in history. So, his offer to buy all of Twitter and take it private can cynically be seen as just another moment of ego from the 21st century’s best reincarnation of P.T. Barnum.
Does it make too much sense to just not use twitter? What percentage of those duped into getting the untested shots were on twitter? Being “on Twitter” sounds like a substance abuse problem.
I know little about computers / tech and less about finance, so I was wondering if somebody who does know something about them can weigh in on claims I have read that Twitter is financially non-viable, implying that Twitter must be "piggy backing" on government systems (I am presuming NSA, DHS computer systems).
In other words, the greatest threat is that Musk has learned, and may reveal, that Twitter is a government run entity.
This is intriguing, but I do not have the ability to meaningfully assess this claim.
I happen to admire Musk for the combination of his visions and actual implementation of them, which is far from common, on land and space. His moves to take control of twitter are indeed a gift to our nation, an attempt to re-establish Freedom of Speech in at least one of our major media, and a most important one at that. The attacks on our Constitutional protections from within ourselves, by complete mentally blind dunderheads, e.g., twitter staff, ignorant of consequences, is perhaps our major threat to future existence as this nation.
The current cancel culture and wokeism (they think they are woken, but asleep) are actually cults of pure ignorance, lacking recognition of reality and all understanding of hard earned historical lessons of our species. They are truly ignorant of consequences.
Interesting points. I would rather have Musk leave earth though as he is dreaming about. He can grow potatoes on Mars... Twits have long ago reached the point of no return, its the law of diminishing returns. Your best point is it will break apart into many competing platforms, the end of centralized manipulative platforms perhaps. Most people who really like being a Twit have learned how to make money from it.

Here’s a conversation RFK jr had about transhumanism and biofascism with the author and PhD, TJ Coles from UK
The clips at the start with Harari is mind boggling for those who have not seen this soulless piece of evil.
