One of the 'points' in the Stagflation piece referred to the global decarbonization push .
That is a hot button for me ! I was P.I. for two significant EPRI reports , NP-2993 (ca. 300 pp) and NP-3020 ( 500pp ). Both are , or were , listed in OSTI.gov . It is my understanding that the price at the time (early 1980's) was $10K per copy ( no commission for me - I was on salary ).
The latter forced me to become an expert in dissolved gases . I could see the whole global warming issue had cause and effect backward . Warming (from solar input) releases CO2 from solution in surface waters . There IS correlation but cause and effect are reversed by corrupt WEF/UN/IPCC types posing as scientists .
I dug further on my own , without compensation ;
Virtually all food stems from photosynthesis , including meat (grazing), which requires CO2 .
- The optimal CO2 level for photosynthesis and plant growth peaks at 3 to 4 times current atmospheric concentration ( around 1500 ppm vs current < 400 ppm).
- The Creator saw to it that there is a beneficial seasonal effect -
- as temperatures drop and leaves fall in autumn , and that 'sink' for CO2 goes away , the solubility of CO2 increases by over 300% over summer temperature conditions .
- Rain droplet size diminishes significantly causing a surface area to volume ratio increase of up to 60:1 enhancing solubility.
- Misty drizzle falls much slower than summer rain , increasing contact time for dissolution.
- Surface tension becomes more important creating spherical droplets . Bigger summer raindrops are mishapen blobs with minor surface tension effects . Surface tension increases internal pressure within the droplets, which raises equilibrium solubilty.
- Autumn runoff velocity is slower ( lower flowrate from finer rain) and the Bernoulli effect increases runnoff fluid pressure , helping to keep gases in solution - (also less turbulence which would jostle any supersaturation). The gases stay sequestered in surface waters until Spring warmup , when the CO2 is released back into the atmosphere just as plants are budding and need CO2 for growth .
The Creator is all-knowing . Today's 'Scientists' are narrow-minded specialists .
