When I was a kid, Belgium where I am from, provided its own food for the whole population and had some left over to sell abroad. Then, about 50 years ago, industry took over, lots of good farm land were destroyed to place industrial plants on them, yes they made lots of jobs but they also destroyed the small farms and now Belgium heavily relies on foreign food. The land cannot be recuperated, just like land in India and other eastern countries, where farmers destroyed their lots with salty water to raise shrimp etc. But I think the only solution is to down scale things again. It is obvious that the dreams of gates and co are in fact nightmares, at lots of African tribes and groups have already loudly proclaimed. It destroys land, crops, families, tribes, lives.
Don’t forget “ten percent for the Big Guy.” He is as compromised as his son, or perhaps more, given all his years in government and the requirements to stay in a power position. Likely the Dem party had no choice but to push him as their nominee due to the compromised positions of top Dem Party operatives. Either offer him or shit comes out about them. Or worse, imaging the scene in The Godfather with the horse head in the bed.
