They should sue their unions too. I've been a proud daughter of a lifelong ALPA member, and carried the ALPA card for many years myself. I never crossed a picket line, no matter whose line it was. But the unions betrayed the pilots, as did the other unions, such a TWU, and Teamsters, with the other positions with those airlines. The unions allowed abrogation of contracts by allowing a new set of work rules to be imposed without negotiations taking place at the bargaining table. They sided with the companies, rather than defending their members. They've been happy to collect the dues, but when it came time to represent the pilots/employees, they sat on their backside and threw the pilots to the wind. I hope the unions are sued, and that those in the position of MEC, LEC, etc., and the AFL/CIO are also forced to defend themselves individually and to pay up regarding this.
ALL complicit in forcing the issue of "No jab, No job" get their comeuppance.
If from the beginning only 40% of the pilots said no jab the airlines would have had to relent or go out of business. If enough people in all sectors had refused from the beginning we wouldn’t be in this mess. If I recognized the dangers and refused the jab then everyone else could have, too.
My unvaccinated grandson, 18, texted me yesterday, said he is going to flight school. Gonna be a pilot like his grandpa. I hope these mandates disappear in time for him. I told him, "Remember grandpa said airplanes don’t get the girls, only Porsches do!" And he replied, "Flying airplanes makes the money to buy the Porsche and then get the girl 👌". I love this kid. Don't want him vaxxed.

It's ok, Lindburgh realized all this flying about was a bad idea anyway. And there will be no one to maintain the planes soon, so it's prob good if they are ALL grounded.
