Glenn Greenwald perfectly frames the current Roe v. Wade issue in Constitutional terms. America was never created as a Democracy, but, rather, as a Constitutional Republic; in fact, nowhere in the Constitution or The Bill of Rights is there any mention of the word “Democracy.”

It would be easier if we followed the original document.
There wouldn't be slavery (oh wait, there was)
Everyone could vote (oh no, only land owner white males)
And you could do whatever you want with your body (nope, that's why roe v Wade happened)
Common sense isn't common when people believe that their truth overrides yours.
My body my choice is not to be decided by others, whether it's vaccines or surgical procedures.
Does it matter whether it's the states or the federal government interpreting laws for their benefit?
It's authoritarian both ways.
