My family, apart from one nephew (he and I were smart enough to escape to the US years ago) lives in Canada. Their downfall was single payer health care (in the 60s), which effectively transfers your bodily autonomy to the federal government. After that, it becomes easier and easier to expect the government to “look after it.” Families no longer look after each other — the government will provide.
From all indications, my family remains unaware that they are a WEF model country— they go about their lives blissfully unaware that they are being herded into a social credit system. They all are vaxxed to the max — including the 7yo. My sister and her husband now have COVID — I’m waiting for someone to text “thank God you got the vax — just imagine how bad it could have been.” I don’t have much compassion for them — I find I am empathy-ed out.
I wish I were more charitable, but I’ve done what I can to warn and educate on both fronts (COVID and the globalist ambitions). They prefer to believe the “experts,” or whatever government shill talking head is on CBC news, keeping their heads down and going about their lives. I don’t think Canada can come back — there are too few Canadians who give a damn.

This is a stupid question but how will Trudeau be able to outlaw vegetable gardens? I understand how the govt uses false pretenses to lockdown, take away/ban guns, etc, but how will they rationalize outlawing gardens? Not trying to be snarky; I’m genuinely curious. And I fully see how Canada is a pilot country for the NWO with what is unfolding. Just curious what justification would be used.

DESPITE the fact that we are constantly referred to with language such as "our Democracy" (even Republicans and conservative pundits such as Rudy Giuliani & Tucker Carlson do it) this is Orwellian "Newspeak" originally designed to muddy clear thought by torturing & inverting the meaning of words. The US is NOT "a Democracy" by intentional design. We are a Constitutional Republic structured with intentional "checks and balances" to impede monopolization & centralization of power, including a very ANTI-Democratic Bill of Rights embedded in our Constitution. The Bill of Rights, by definition, protects & guarantees MINORITY rights. This is the antithesis of "a Democracy" which, by definition, is Rule of the Majority (aka Mobocracy). Canada is NOT a Constitutional Republic and Canadians, having voted for Trudeau and his party henchmen, have no 2nd Amendment Rights as do Americans. We Americans are in danger of losing many of our Constitutional liberties because we have also been very complacent and un-vigilant about protecting them. But we have not as yet allowed the aspiring totalitarians in the DC Uniparty to entirely dis-arm us. G_d willing, we never will.
